Eastman—A Municipality?

How would Eastman owners benefit by becoming a public municipality? A few benefits would include:

1)    All residents in a public community have equal rights. (Civil and Human)
2)    Each person would have direct vote. This would allow voters in the same household to vote independently.
3)    The municipality would eliminate assessments that are not tax deductible. Instead we would pay taxes that are tax deductible.
4)    Elimination of double taxation for roads, vehicles and other approved expenses of a public community thereby reducing Eastman owners’ cost of ownership.
5)    All governance activities would be required to conform to RSA 91-A, The New Hampshire Public Right To Know law.
6)    All financial reports would be required to conform to a defined public standard.
7)    The standards for removal from office are reasonable.
8)    The standards for independent legal opinion are defined and public officials are held accountable to that standard. Elected lawyers cannot form their own independent legal opinion because it is a violation of legal ethics.
9)    All meetings would be open to the public unless they meet explicit state requirements to be non-public sessions.

So what is the benefit to you, as an owner, of Eastman being a “private/secret” community? For more info
