At last Saturday’s
Council Meeting Mr. Goldman called for “civility”. In Tuesday’s Wall Street
Journal on page 17, there is an article entitled Free Speech at Berkeley--So
Long as It's “Civil". The author talks about the University of California
Chancellor sending a message to students entitled: "Civility and Free Speech".
He goes on to note what John Stuart Mill said in "On Liberty"
in 1859: "Calls for civility
are often a tool to enforce conformity. A fierce and angry defense of the
values of the dominant class might be hailed as righteous rage, but even a
milder dissenting opinion is easily labeled uncivil."
What comes to mind is
that while Mr. Goldman has ECA owners held up to pay Council approved Special
Assessments (while he and his allies
pickpocket our wallet) ECA dissidents must remain “civil”.
While the Moderators of
the Listserv advance their agenda, they too, insist on “civility” from non-governance owners. It is an old game and the
Eastman elitists continue to bambozzle the unsuspecting and trusting ECA
owners.
Rick-- Give us a break;
Ron already reinstated Nate and then framed Phil.
Ron wrote on 8/29/14
Nate is the son of a property
owner.
As such he is a resident of
Eastman and most definitely entitled to post.
I signed him up.
