Not only did your Council
Reps vote against your wishes, there were some who voted "no" on the Build New at
$4.5 M but then turned around and voted "yes" on the funding! If they had kept to
their “no” vote on the spending there would be no money for the building which
would have accomplished what they couldn’t do with their first vote. Why did
they vote to “go along”? A good question. Here are the chameleons:
East Lake: Peter Hope, Pat McAllister
Greensward : Bob Katz
West Cove: Nancy Larsen, Ernie Mills
Yes, 5 votes put them over
the 2/3 necessary for the funding.
Clearly the membership of the
Council is not representative of the community nor is the CRC Committee, which
is made up totally of golfers who refused to disseminate accurate information
to the community.
